(Dallas, Texas – September 15th, 2021) – Dallas-based Nigerian artist, Friends Wit Nobody @friendswitnobody is making a namesake in the independent music scene. Not many acts have amassed a collection of guest verses across the music spectrum with features from Paul Wall, Sauce Walka, Papoose, Bun B, Sha Sha Jones, Lil Ronny Motha F, and international acts Wande Cole, Karencitta, and Singah! His current EP, IGWE II, which features Louisiana legend Boosie Badazz on the single “$hake It” has recently surpassed a million streams on Spotify. This is after flying under the radar with IGWE II’s predecessor, IGWE IGBO Official, which is also streaming in the millions. With just under 50,000 monthly listeners and tons of Instagram engagements, it is evident that someone is listening to Friends Wit Nobody, but why is his music still relatively obscure?
According to distributor Big Top Entertainment L.L.C. “Friends Wit Nobody" is on the verge of breakout success. Their songs are already monetized and making income, with a growing international fanbase” states CEO, Curtis Johnson.
Friends Wit Nobody front man, and Nigerian High-Chief James Guyton admits that his music is reaching an international crowd, and doubters can expect him to continue releasing great content and proving them wrong!
